Clever Design Elements
Our Pinstripe yearly coin is loaded with design touches that are meaningful, yet subtle. At first glance, the front of the coin features a jersey which is styled after one of America’s most famous baseball teams from the great state of New York. However, the sleeves are cleverly crafted to be the “A” from the AA logo on each side of the jersey. Next, you'll notice the three equilateral triangles found along the edge of the circle, which represent the three legacies: recovery, unity, and service. The player number on the jersey is the sobriety milestone, which is available in years 1-50. Finally, the back side of the coin features a baseball with raised stitching and the famous Serenity Prayer:“God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.”
